Dark Chocolate helps to a great extent in reducing the occurrence of non-fatal strokes and heart attacks, especially in those people who are more susceptible to these problems. We might have written only blueberries’ name here, but we also mean to tell you that all those berries available out there, like strawberries and blackberries, are equally good for your heart health! Blueberries have been proven to be very useful in preventing and lowering the risk of heart attacks, quite effectively.

This can be credited to another flavonoid, known as anthocyanin that is present in all the berries. Anthocyanin is an antioxidant compound that favours the decrease in blood pressure and assists the dilation of the blood vessels. So do not forget to add this amazing fruit to your list of healthy food products!
