How to Cure Constipation?

Constipation is a commonly occurring ailment. Pain occurs in the lower abdomen due to passing hard or painful stools. It usually happens due to poor diet and unhealthy lifestyle. Eating too much junk food and lack of exercise in your lifestyle can cause constipation.

Add these points in your daily routine to avoid constipation :

Your body needs more fiber – Add more fiber in your diet every day. It improves your digestion system and decreases the chances of constipation. Take at least 25-30 grams of fiber in your food. Eat more green vegetables, black beans and lentils and forget constipation forever.

Sweet is the treat – This seems different but it works all the time. Intake of strawberries, raspberries and blackberries with whipped cream in your breakfast will help you fight against constipation. Almost all fruits have good amount of fiber.

Bring Whole-Grain Bread in – Eat whole-grain bread every day and you will always keep constipation away from your body. Whole-grain bread contains complex carbohydrates and it is low in fat. Bakers generally put more fiber in diet bread to make it light. Whole grain bread is healthier and high on fiber than white bread, which again helps to stay away from constipation.

The house of nutrients ‘Broccoli’ – Broccoli belongs to the green family and like them; it is full of nutrients and low in calories. When the broccoli is raw, it is full of fiber. Apart from fighting against constipation, it keeps your skin healthy and protects the body from skin cancer.

Increase the intake of nuts – If mitochondria is the powerhouse of the cell then nuts are powerhouse for fiber. Increase the intake of nuts but make sure to keep a check on how much you consume because they are also high in calories.
